propane tank

Recommended Posts

All the propane torch does is give you a hotter, smaller area of heat source. Yes, you have to be real careful when using them to make sure you don't burn/melt outside trim panels. Stick with the heat guns until you are confident enough on what you are doing.

You know, if I were to do something so wrong right, I'd have to go at those pesky water bubbles and creases this way.

Here are reasons not to use something delivering 2500* F temps to cars, glass or window film before and after installation:

Accelerates polyester death

Accelerates the death of dyes, even color stable

Accelerates adhesive death

Destroys UV absorbers in adhesive and weatherable polyester

Can kick adhesive into cure state before sufficient bond is achieved

Can detemper tempered glass if surface temp reach +1200* F leading to breakage

Can easily ignite gas fumes from any vehicle

Can damage a customers molding and paint

Just to name a few.

Happy torchin'  :thumb
