Do glue stains go away?

Recommended Posts

Kind of hard to tell since the iPhone focused on the reflection of your phone rather than the glass. But to elaborate on your question how much did you heat up the film before pressing anything out? Was it just a pocket of solution you tried to get out? If so no heat is really needed since it's fresh. If it was a small contaminant spot that you wanted to blur out you shouldn't need that much heat as it'll fade away from the exterior glass view but will still be visible interior viewing. But if you heated the glass enough to where you pressed over that bubble and you started to see the glue smear then that isn't necessarily going to "go away" from what I've seen when things like that cure out is that theres a glue distortion depending how much the glue was heated and pressed on. However if it's a solution smudge, I've seen them cure out just fine IMO.

Just to add a rule of thumb. If you have to question yourself if the work is passable or not, or feel as you should redo it, then it should probably be redone.
