Peeling front hood on 23 jeep Grand Cherokee, summit, L

Recommended Posts

Don't know why it's peeling. I did it twice now, second time I used bug and tar remover in case there was some kind of coating, clay bar, alcohol, etc.

When I peeled it of the car the first time it seemed to come off waaaay to easy, no bite. I'm using sun tek and never had this issue.

the hood may be ceramic coated .....

you stretch the film too much?

straight alchool  90%, bonding promoter  , also solvent adhesive removal ( keep it away from plastic and headlights)

multiple wipe down the edges is the key , also steam may help with wrapping the edges
