Fronts and strip on Toyota Tacoma

Entire 2014 Toyota Tundra 4 door with also removing fronts and strip

Im just about to leave now to go do 4 decent sized house windows.

Thats a pretty busy day for me. Ready for a beer.

where in florida are you located? do you have a climate controlled shop?

  2. I push the gasket down, peel the entire liner, install the bottom first and let the middle and top part of the film kind of just fall onto the window..once its all on the glass, push on it and slide it up towards the top edge..those windows move some when you push on em..not a terrible window once you have done a couple

this is how i do mine. if your using plotter patterns it makes it a bit easier.

  3. 1991 Honda Accord wagon

    6 8" Sundown speakers

    Air ride

Strip and tint w carbon 18/full windshield 45%

Thing is ridiculously loud. Pretty cool little car.

you talking about 6 8" midbass speakers or subwoofers?

8" subwoofers. The box is tuned to like 35hz. It hits really deep, surprisingly so for such a small woofer.

looks like those are some pretty beefy 8" subs

speaking of stereos I just finished this stereo install with a jvc double din indash screen with back-up camera and 10" infinity reference subwoofer in custom fiberglass enclosure. in a bmw x5.

custom made speaker grill for a more factory look

  5. no tint today but I did install a remote starter on a push-to-start 2010 nissan murano.

Did your custy run you through the start up procedure on the push to start? :lol

I hate it when u ask them for the key and they give you a funny look and say "its not a key its this thingy you got to put in your pocket." its okay because I make them feel really dumb when I explain how the remote starts works with the pts and they still cant wrap their head around it.

  6. most of the vent visors are two sided taped on and are carefully and easily removed. you can buy different width 3m tape at any auto parts store and just replace it with new. the newer style ones are just slid into the window channel.

better to just leave them on. these can crack very easily. not worth the risk. just roll the window down a little more and be careful the tint doesnt fall off the window.

I agree with you for the narrow ones, but for some wide ones, how would you do it?

never ran into the bigger ones. id probably let the customer know that I may or may not crack the shield and wont replace if I do or tell them they need to be removed before I can install tint. sounds bad but those things are just a pain in the ass and ive cracked one before.

  8. From what I have been able to find out, MaxPro is definitely NOT a re-boxed film. It is a component film - meaning that the components are "assembled" in various places around the U.S. and then sold under the MaxPro brand. The people behind this maker have a very rich and long career in the industry coming in many cases from BIG names having worked for those manufactures for several years. With large corporations now taking over and acquiring solid film makers, these people have left their former companies and banded together to offer a reasonable alternative to the likes of CP, Bekeart, 3M, etc. etc.

These guys are window film people with a love for what they do and an accurate understanding of what we as tinters expect and need. They have a passion for what they do and do not answer to the corporate "stockholders", they answer to us instead.

Most who have tried it LOVE it. Most who distribute it LOVE it.

MaxPro seems to be quietly taking market share and are building a solid customer base. I personally have used their commercial films and can find nothing wrong with them.
