tint slime love the stuff never changing to anything else, I have a fifty gallon tank with a shurflo pump on it never had an issue after switching to tintslime

Do you agitate that tank somehow?? I'm using the 7gallon cart with a ShurFlo from GDI Tools, and I shake(roll) it back and forth a few times a day to make sure it's mixed well.

Why it smells like a sewer, I have no idea. :dunno I'm talking rotten eggs that is almost unbearable. :barf

    I peed in that bottle?????

  2. Oh no.. I do know what it would take.  One reason I said it.  I know just me saying it over and over again won't help.  But with enough requests to show the bosses, maybe it will help get that new master roll on the shelf.  I will of course,, try to be patient.   :twiddlethumbs

Keep up the good work with the film, and I will keep up the good installs.   :cool

I will definitely be happening.... before the end of 2015 for sure.

Wow, that is super sweet Bham. I take it you are liking the CarbonFX product pretty well?

Oh and here is another request for you to show the powers that be that we want  some CarbonFX 30%  :please   :poke

It is in the works and on the drawing board. You wouldn't believe what all is entailed when adding a new VLT. One would assume that all it would take is to say "Hey we need a 30% now."

  4. Haha Shawn. Nothing against you guys and if for some reason I needed to switch or carry another brand it would be with you guys. Just carrying multiple lines carries to much headache for me.

I appreciate that jh! It is nice to know that you would have confidence in our products if the need would ever arise. I can completely understand the multiple brands scenario, we have over 5,000 sku's in our warehouse (poor warehouse guys). They are the best in the business at maintaining our warehouse.  :thumb

The hp doesn't really have a color to it other than gray. The way film should be.

You should give Shawn at SolarFX a call and get some samples of their CarbonFX line. You sound like a perfect candidate for that line of film. At least check it out :twocents

I am really enjoying it. :thumb

Why switch from a Bentley to a Cadillac? I've tried there film before no real problems with it,it just weren't better than what I've got. I'm not really interested in multiple lines of different film. I've just tried the others to see if I like them better. I've been down the whole ceramic thing. I'm sticking with what I know works.

Thank you for trying out our films JH. I know that Howard and Express have excellent quality window films. You are right, if the EWF brand of window films are working for you and your marketplace than stick with them.

Thank you for the shout out Bham, I greatly appreciate your vote of confidence in our products.

Howard, please accept my apologies for chiming in on your thread. You have a great company and great products for sure!!

  6. I wanted to take a moment to respond to this post.

First, let me apologize to TD and the other members of this great forum for this to be posted here. I would also like to apologize for the parts of the conversation that was posted that showed me being unprofessional.

What you do not see is the conversation that began in another forum. This former customer wanted warranty for our Color Stable film. Since he is no longer purchasing from our company and had purchased four different series of SolarFX, as well as film from at least six other manny’s in 2014, I asked him twice to contact our Houston location for warranty service. I told him since he had purchased several series of films from us, as well as film from other manny’s, that we would need to have the removed film returned with the warranty card and copy of sales receipt to verify it was our film and our Color Stable product. Seeing that we pay film replacement and labor re-installation on our Color Stable film, we wanted the film returned for verification. The thread was deleted in that forum and it began again in another forum. Even in this conversation you can see that I asked him again to contact the Houston location for service and the rest is what unfolded.

We as a company strive to provide the best quality products at each price level we sell and offer great customer service to back our films. Am I perfect? Do we always get it right? No, but we always strive to be better, to provide an exceptional experience to build a strong partnership with our customers.

We stand behind our films and he still can contact our Houston location for warranty service, that has never changed.

    Shawn

PS. shwusyrtints, I see that you make reference in one of your posts in this thread that you are having an issue with the series of film you purchased from us? This is the first we have heard of this, if you are having an issue please contact our Kansas City office so we can remedy your situation. Call us at 800-825-3746.

  7. There are a lot of great films in the marketplace. You really are asking the age old question of "which is better, Coke, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper?" All the film companies you proposed are really good companies. Every tinter has their own preferences to the film that they use in their operations and honestly feel that their film is better then any other. Just because I prefer Pepsi over Coke & Dr Pepper doesn't mean that the other two are bad products, just my personal preference. Another scenario would be "which is the best? Ferrari, Lamborghini, McClaren?" All are exceptional cars that I can't afford. LOL

  8. I would find it highly unlikely that your tint job is the culprit to water in the amplifier. The amplifier on the Audi A7 is located on the drivers side trunk side panel, not the rear deck. So unless you were pre-shrinking with the trunk open and the trim panel removed it is virtually impossible for this to happen. Here is a picture showing the location of the amplifer.
