  1. Hello Tinters and PPF'ers,

If you need a Fusion Tool Catalog and Tool pricing just send me a PM and I will message you back a link that has downloadable catalog and pricing.5ac29c87dda41_FusionTools.jpg.00c290ba34beacc62ed96589a8e68d5e.jpg

  2. I am looking for a few pointers that could set me in the right direction with my not yet opened tint shop. First of all I am set to open my shop in less then a month and a half. I have purchased tintpro software for the business side of things. Havent played with it yet but it will probly take two weeks to enter in data. I have also acquired my LLC. I have enough tinting experience to get back in the game and make this business successful. My customer service is steller. I have also managed many businesses in my career. So i am confident in the consistency i will offer to this industry. although the tinting industry is fairly new for the business side of things. I am looking for a distribution that does not have limitation on the amount ordered. As I am on a beginners budget.  I am also looking for the same distributor to offer some type of marketing material or samples, catalogs, examples, etc.
Also I understand the tint laws. but am I liable if I put illegal tint on a vehicle? I plan to add installation of remote starters and security alarms after about 4 to 6 months of just doing the tinting side of things. Just curious if there is good training for that field or if I would be better of having my mechanic teach me? Sorry for the story.

While competitors and their cronies do their best to manipulate the success of your business behind the scenes, STAY focused on your Goals and continue with your business plan!

Make the commitment to provide your customers with the products and services that meet and even exceed their expectations!

At SolarFX, our ONLY Focus is you!

  4. We often tell our customers that they shouldn't recommend to their customer using MEK to clean the windows.

I hope you all realize that was a joke :lol2

The only thing the MEK test does is show how a film is colorized. The film on the far right, is most likely a Korean film. They do not have the technology to deep dye a film (which is still the proven best way to colorize a film for longevity) therefore they input the color in the lamination adhesive during lamination. This test merely shows the dying technique used to impart color into the film.

So apparently this is circulating WFR (Tint Club is a sponsor) showing a comparison test between "Carbon" films.  What they don't say is Suntek Carbon and SolarFX Carbon are dyed window films...not actual Carbon films hence the color change on them.  When questioned about it, the answer is "All three are using the name Carbon".  Yeah, sign me up.  :lol

We'd be more than happy to take care of being your main tint distributor!!!

  7. I understand. Do you happen to know the IR specs for the fxtreme2 nano ceramic and the rejectorfx line?

Hello civicrice, it is well known that Asian companies do not have the ability to deep dye window films. They either, mounting adhesive dye, chip dye, or dye/carbonize there films in the lamination adhesives. None of these techniques have been proven to outlast the deep dye technologies of 4th gen deep dyed films.

Dynamic is correct that almost all of these “Carbon” films use a dye to add color and make darker their films. How much “Carbon” is actually in the film? What type of dye technology are they using? There have been many instances posted on social media where “Carbon” films have turned purple and faded after less than 5 years.

At any rate, our 4th gen dyed films are manufactured to the highest quality and are among, if not the, highest quality in the industry.

To answer about our IR on our films. Our FXtreme2 films have an IR of 76% up to 88%.

The RejectorFX is a lightly aluminized film with minimal IR rejection in the 40’s and not designed as an IR film.

    Hope that answers your questions.
