    I use it at a 1:100 ratio and love it. Haven't found anything better.

    how many litres you mix at a time ?
    I'll often add ten litres to my Corny tank setup at a time. No problems with sedimenting etc, so I can just top it up and get a perfect mix every time.

    The official suggestion on the bottle when you convert it to "real" units of measure ([emoji13]) is about 80ml : 10L water. We have higher temps and higher humidity so I bump it up to 100ml:10L. Nice round numbers, good mix of slip /grip, and easy to adjust for different quantities..

    10ml:1L

    20ml:2L

    30ml:3L

    etc etc.... [emoji106]

    So are all you big number installing guys (by yourself) say you never have a call back for a hair or a bit of dirt or a lift here or there or a finger that has popped up after the job or anything?

    I find that hard to believe the full and real story as this tale has 2 sides of which one we never ever hear of the true dark side.

    I've met plenty of "10 car / day" tinters. But in all my years I've never seen a single one of them actually achieve it, let alone to a high standard.

    If there's a way to do them that fast, and that perfect, I'd sure love to know about it.

    I currently employ a female auto tinter, and have just ended a phone call securing the employment of another one starting next week.

    No ego, no macho, no biggest d!ck contests. Just quality tinters with a great eye for detail. Degrading comments like that wouldn't fly in my shop. You'd be shown the door before your heatgun even had time to warm up.

    IMO 3M is the worst garbage in the market...I have 40% Crystalline on the doors on my GS350 2014...where the windows roll up into the track the color is coming off...I got rid of them as a dealer and will never use their garbage Film again...Household name yes...Quality product...No Way!!!

    It's a pointless argument trying to agree on what is the best film on the market as everyone has their preferences and in any range their will be some standout films and some ho hum films but I have seen some absolute garbage films hit the market and 3M is nowhere near that level.

    I have had CR40 on a company car now for 2 years and we have custys in this car every day running them around, winding the windows up and down and have seen nothing like you describe as yet.

    I will grant you that CR doesn't have the best scratch/colour coat I have ever seen (not the worst either), but the colour is nice and there is no doubt that the film performs very well.To say the entire 3M range is just garbage is just a ridiculous statement that I wouldn't make about any of the major US film companies. :evileye

    And yes I am a 3M dealer...and I also use and recommend daily most of the other brands on the market as well

    I agree with Rocky on this one.

    It appears that YOUR car scratched THEIR film, so it's their fault? CR40 on my wife's car for over two years without a problem.

    Sounds more like brand based racial profiling than constructive assessment of the product.

    If you've got that McGyver way of thinking they aren't that bad. If you're a straight peel it stick it and trim it kinda guy you're gonna have a very bad day... [emoji41]

    Cut, shrink and trim your 1/4 windows before installing them makes life easier, and the rear fixed headrests sit within a poofteenth of the back glass. But if you stop it at just the right time, you can reach the rearscreen a lot easier when suspend 1/2 way through the roof opening sequence.

    :yeah Of the films mentioned at the first post CS would be the best choice. I'd steer clear of a 5% film as it is nothing but probable cause for law enforcement to bite time out of your day.

    You don't like the FX or the BC?

    I know the FX isn't colour stable and the BC35 is too reflective... But you don't stock them?

    I don't mate. I have a strict policy about only ever stocking films that warrant against colour change and fading, and actually WORK. (IE: heat reduction that you can feel, not just TSER) It's one of the USP's that I promote quite heavily.

    I've been a big advocate of the 3M CS for many years. A lot of tinters don't like it because they think it's difficult to use. So if you're going for the CS film, make sure you also go for a quality installer.

    Maxpro is a very VERY new film to the Australian marketplace THEGMAN185. How do you know so much about it? I'd be willing to go out on a limb here and say that many of the members of this forum haven't even SEEN a Maxpro film yet.

    You did a lot of reading here on what we discuss before posting so you obviously do your research. Have you heard or read any testimonials on Maxpro films? Know anyone that has it on their car? What can you tell us about it? [emoji16]

    Ultra Tinter:

    Literally all I did was call all of the local tint installers and asked what type of film they used, the price, and the warranty. After reviewing the installers reputations, I did a Google search all of the mentioned films.

    That is how I ultimately ended up on here to this forum.

    Reading previous posts, here are some I found on MaxPro. Most reviews were not technically bad, since it is a newer film....But the last link is the worst!

    I did ALOT of reading on this website before I decided to create my own post and get true and updated input from the tint industry's expert installers!

    I personally do not know anyone with any of these mentioned films.

    All my questioning and research has been through this website forum.

    Personally, I love customers who do their research. They're educated, know what they want, and don't fall for the BS that some tint shops spin about what's "best for them".
