Aloha Friends,
The choice of Vehicles here in Hawaii are Toyota's and Honda's very easy vehicles to hand-cut but for productivity and liability purposes I will be using a plotter. I would like to ask your opinion which software would have the best cuts for these makes and models if you have tried others. I have used Tinttek in the past but haven't in like 10 years. I appreciate it as times have changed.
Mahalos,

Aloha Tinters,
So I am wondering which of the two would be the best for tinting. I have owned a Q100 in the past and was wondering if those Jaguars were any better. Any input on this will help my selection when purchasing a new plotter. I love the way the Jaguars looks.

I spoke to Shady today and he said hes doing PPF now and has made himself an Apron for PPF specifically. I am trying to motivate him to make me some tinting ones lol.

Which model. Anything other than a CX sucks. Damn rear wiper wiring harness. Then again those always sorta suck if you do them right and dissasemble the struts and pray they were'nt cross threaded at one time or another heh.

Don't want to be a buzz kill for something of this nature, but the reason you are seeing more evacuation of moisture is because of the glycerin content (which the % contained need be determined because Baby shampoo also contains this chemical). This info is found on the SDS (safety data sheet of any chemical product). Comparing slime to FilmOn, you would see this moves more water phenomenon occur; compared with Baby Shampoo and you will notice little difference (once you found the right mix ratio to mimic BShampoo). The thing I noticed with it is I seem to get more solution out with it.
Glyscerin has a hydrophilic/hydrogropic nature to it and once one the glass, it doesn't go away when the rest of your slip evaporates through the film. If those two fifty cent words look foreign, they are to most people outside a chemistry degree (I had to look them up). The terms mean that glyscerin has an affinity toward water; it will continuously attract moisture to it.
So, what's that mean for film adhesive longevity, not much different than using dish soap or baby shampoo (dependent upon % of glycerin in product and mix ratio used with water to produce a slip solution); however, for those in climates that suffer from high humidity, well, it has the potential to be buzz kill, because PS adhesives tend not fare well when saturated in moisture.
So all in all what do you think works better? Your opinion?
Is this a good glass cutting table to get?

I have 2 of them one for each side of the car for side windows / quarters and I also have a rolling double sided glass whiteboard for rear windows and for weeding the patterns. I love it and can roll it right next to me when im ready for installation.
