PFJ...are you lost? Shouldn't you be pimping some outdated rewritten article or video on how social media is the new X factor.
That is funny kccartint. Seems like if you look back at the archives, some of the things I said about social media 3-5 years ago are exactly what has come to pass. If you still think question whether social media is the, as you call it "X factor", I dont even know what to say. Hard to imagine being in business today without being active on at least 1 social platform. It was amazing how many people that joked and made fun of social media 3+ years ago, but now they are very active on several platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Heck, many of them even ask me to like their Facebook pages. I am just glad that some have taken this advice and better educated themselves for the benefit of their businesses.
Regarding the articles and video, they still seem to get lots of reads and watches, so guess someone is seeing value in them. Real easy, if you don't like the, don't look at them. I long since stopped worrying about the haters. It doesn't bother me if people choose to ignore what I said about social media and some of the things I say now. Makes it easier for me to succeed because there is less competition doing it right.

Another video just got uploaded with some comparisons.

I've been looking at buying some blades to go with fusion handles. I'm just not sure which one is better. The max is cheaper than the crush but that makes me think it isn't as good quality. Any opinion helps. Thanks!
I can tell you from my roughly 15 years of selling tools in this industry that it is hard to beat the Blue Max. We sell both of them, and I probably sell 10 Blue max to every 1 Orange Crush. The Blue Max just flat out works and it never leaves what I call erasure marks if you run it across a dry spot of film. The same cannot be said of other squeegee blades. Like I said, I can sell you either one, but that is my $.02.
Also, make sure you are buying the original and genuine Blue Max. If it is legit, it should have the Blue Max logo heat stamped into the top of the blade. Hope that helps.

Hey Interwest, I've tried contacting you guys by email via your website at least three time so far and never get any response.. What's up with that?
Do you guys have an Australian Distributor or can I purchase direct through you? Got an order ready to go, just need a response.
Hey man, sorry about the delayed response. I never got your emails, so I am glad you reached out here. So, to answer your questions, we do not currently have an Australian distributor. I have processed orders for some dealers direct, but the shipping costs can be high unless to order is big enough to justify it. The cost to ship a smaller order and a larger one are unfortunately not that different in shipping costs.
I appologize for no response from us from your requests. That is not typical and I am not sure what may have happened. If you would like to contact me directly to discuss placing an order with us, send me an email at Patric@InterwestDC.com. I would be happy to help you any way that I can.

Got a roll from interwest yesterday, love it! No need to lube the window with solution before hitting it with the blue max when using this stuff. The squeegees just glide no chance of scratches either.
Thank you for the order. Glad you are liking the tape!

$37.50 for 12 yards....so to put it on a 4" "white teflon" hard card that costs $1.00 it will be $0.38 for the long edge....or over a buck if you do the whole card!
Like I said, I don't think it is worth the price.
Definitely not cheap, but those that are using it seem to love it.

The tape really slid on the film and would be something good, I think, but I don't think it is worth the price they are charging...or at least what Richard said it cost him...I can't seem to find it
In case anyone is wondering, here is the link to this tape on the Interwest Tools website: http://www.interwesttools.com/p-200-squeegee-slip-tape.aspx.

Shady showed me his apron at the IWFC and I must say that it is the best made and most well thought out apron for this industry that I have seen in my nearly 15 years of selling tools. Great design Shady!

I will try to add that today foxy ;)
MSDS is now correct on the Zola Tools Site. You can see it on our product page:

Uh Oh Patrick has an MSDS for Film On instead of TintSlime on that page. Where is that finger wagging smiley when you need it.
Kari could you have the link to the real MSDS put on your TintSlime front page.?
Oops! I have the correct one. I must have linked it wrong on the site. I will get that corrected today. Thanks for the heads up!

Well I have been using/fighting with this ComputerCut system for the last year at our other location. I have been tinting auto glass for over 22 years and in January of this year I transfered to one of our other shops with a computer cut system.
I have to say it is the biggest joke in the tint industry!!! It is a waste of time and material. Cuts don't fit and need trimmed or are the wrong size all together. Film is constantly jamming up in the cutter due to SolarGard changing their liner a few months ago to a more rubber material and static is a huge issue. Rollers have been kept up and machine is always taken care of.
That is surprising. Kevin has always seemed to have that system fairly dialed in. I have not heard many complain over the years.

I bet ALL the film and tools suppliers will be giving some sort of discounting during SEMA week...

No need to worry guys, I am done. No sense arguing with someone like that. Leaves both people frustrated and accomplishes nothing. Hope the rest of you are doing well and that this thread can get back on topic.
