That's thinking like a redneck there! I like it. Got seals for my giant quarters, need clear glass hate early 90's gm privacy glass nothing matches
Solargard Quantum matched pretty good them old GM mirror looking factory tint and ford bronco had that also
Ha and them old pop out 1/4 windows with no boarder black sucked when the screws dont come out very nice lol

Brush Painted black that area back then on camero/transam
The hatchback for sure paint it but the older non hatchback camero/transam i have used black vinyl as trim tape to hide that daylight on the outside and you could hide the whole.defoster grid on the outside with black vinyl
Old dirty rear glass needs good cleaning and cutting the pattern needs to be smaller on the outside and if you cut it too short? Paint that daylight also lol
Good luck

Its terrible that my son(22) doesnt really know how to tint yet/he helped his friend try to tint the lower part of windshield on a GM truck/at least the autozone tint peeled off with all the glue
But he did remove and install a bigger turbocharger on his dodge diesal truck lol

I use a felt block squeege or just fingers and maybe a glove with heatgun
I have not really done very many either but that stuff shrinks better than tint
I needed more practice and this is dark grey for buddys mostly drag car(outlaw street)with open 2in headers and 4in holes coming out in front of the front tires and a big supercharger(cops will hear that from 5miles away)
Going to redoo the headlights and grind the tabs off for headlight aligning but had to see if it would shrink around them things? LoL covered the ford emblem also and one headlight was yellow
