I don't need or want an audience. Especially if I'm pulling or popping the top of a panel, the newer GMs let loose a hell of a snapping noise when you pop the top. Had a salesman present when I was popping one the other day and he about shit himself, can only imagine what a customer would be like when it sounds like you're breaking shit on their new $30k-$100k vehicle.
I use a panel popper tool and the noise is less on gm trucks

I have never filed tint edges because(never heard of that) and i can cut/place pretty good but shaved a few(olfa or redot) that were past the top edge=bad placement and or poor lighting/vent visors blocking light/rushing/need glasses lol etc
If i got $100 per door glass? Maybe i would file the edge lol
Little Fine metal file this is and i probly would say dont use course files for tint shaving
Nobody files ignition points anymore either and most dont know what they are and not even on any modern engines anymore but its a nice little file if you do small engine rebuilding or deburring small stuff
-
Learn to cut/place a nice pattern and you dont need a file?
And how are you supposed to file the deep back corners? But maybe possible with a super thin fine craftsmen ignition file to some degree

Its a 2001/220 that i bought with bad engine(no oil was added to the gas) and rebuilt it and very fun bike with smooth power and seat is pretty soft compared to mxers and i ported the cyl and put a bigger carb on it
-
I have a nice old restored big square chev 4w dr to do but i told him to wait til i feel like doing it lol

18 gm equonox=i took the screw out by the latch and panel wasnt popping easy so i shoved the long side of the GW in because the high front door panel and stuck the little one at the end/then carefully slide the front edge in there and the lower part of the pattern on the glass/letting the rest hang over/then grab the GWs and pull them out and slide the film down to position and carefully get the top back corner in that deep area without touching the frame
Minor adjust that nice edge and Blue 3m hardcard lock it hard and fast/wipe/little tri-edge and roll up nail the bottom and some tri-edge and done with no heatgun or any side creases to heatgun for these 2 fronts lol

1st yr ford Taurus models? Them seals were the best for removal/just.yank them rite out=i did one of them in 22mins on a late Friday afternoon at somebodys elses shop mid 90s lol
-
That looks like a sweat box? It needs tint

-
Some panels will not go back over the sweeps without removing the whole panel to get it back over=15mins per doorglass or so
-
I dont even remove the screw on the front Gm trucks but i do for the rear doors
-
Ha i remove the panel/seals on ford rangers=2mins xtra maybe to make easy and the 14 and up GM fullsize trucks i pop the top of panel and remove the seal with them thanks to JHs man handle it video lol
Buddys kids watched me rip the top panel of a new Escalade and said daddy he broke your truck? LoL
-
Panel/seals are all diff and some top of door panels are higher than the seal and some types you have to start with the window lower to slide it to that perfect edge so binding sucks for most
-
FYI GWs suck when pulled tight with bungee cords=it binds against the glass down at the bottom and the film wont slide past that bottom edge
But some panel/seals its okay like frameless doorglass but why bother
