Morning.
I find it funny = my 28 y/o stepdaughter said her daughter missed the bus. Sorry, but an 8 y/o didn’t miss the bus. YOU LET HER miss the bus. :sigh
You need to crack the whip at 6am so they start getting it figured out? I go thru the same thing with my daughter and is bad enough to try and reason with 1 woman?

A new Dodge truck factory tinted rear door metered at 22% so thats probly why 14% film looked abit to dark

Isopropal alky doesnt break down tint glue from my winter installed jobs(flatglass or auto) for at least the last 15yrs or so and it doesnt break down the adhesive for removals very well either
Windshield washer fluid worked for a flatglass job that was over 100mi away and no good heat at the storefront glass@i just dumped in a few ozs in my 2qt sprayer as the reg slip froze when cleaning the glass
-
Heated shop is best and wait till the ride warms up before cleaning the glass
Havent really heard of defrosters breaking glass when cold other than i saw one that broke the glass were the wire pluggin was soldered back on the glass

I go back and forth with skylights... Sometimes I like doing them... Other times I hate it. Depends on my mood.. and how sunny and hot it is when I'm doing one.
I dont enjoy them but it got chilly last nite and no sunlight hopefully tmro

Thanks... That's why I love doing houses. I know many people prefer commercial work - but I'll take homes & home owners all day long.
Also impatiently waiting on ok of 2 decent office window jobs and a house to put samples(accross street from my house) and have 2 houses for skylights tmro

If below 32*F add some alky to the slip juice lol

Not sure on slitting yet but maybe some cleaner side cuts and got 12ft of it and made a 5ft and 6ft piece for now
Well kinda flimsey(glass channel) for perfect side cuts but better than the cardboard box
But the new Cleancut box slitter looks great and probly will spring for the 72in one
