LMAO, pretty good is a relative thing! I've been tinting for 20 years, and I'm sure there are plenty of things that these guys could show me and vice versa. If tinting is something you want to do to make  a living doing, then get a job at a high volume shop and learn everything you can. You'll know when you have, because the other guys will be coming to you for help. (PS it will take a few years) But please strive for something better than pretty good!

Always better school with tinters that have been there before you i had four teachers 10 year experience  but only one guy really showed me the ropes..took 9 month's before went on my own....

Yeah I usually have my patterns pretty long on the sides. When I re do the fronts on this car I will cut them exact. I think that will help with fingers on the sides. And if there are any, they should be easier so lay down. Thanks everyone.

Try dry shrinking the side windows too it helps on curvy windows

there are inflatable ones that go up in 2 min but not cheap.  a prototype for tinting by the tint shop (Aaron Fournier) has clear sides and roof for light.  not sure if its shipping yet.   I was mobile, not to custy's house.  I set up different shops to schedule the work for me.  yes I give up a few points but  dozen plus sales reps selling,  no mystery of where i work.  low overhead and home based business write offs.  suggest keep your area within a 30 min drive,  larger circle waste to much time driving.

makes billing easy with set accounts compared to billing individual custy's.

I always said,  if I could get rid of my customers, my job would be a lot easier  LOL

You did what ya had to do bro good techniques...

Hey man, just got the GW, haven't used it yet, you seem to be making good use of it, any tips or tricks? Seems like jam and go, what's the best way to maximize clearance for the film? There's no videos about their use, i know it seems straight forward, but apparently you have to wear a cup when using the bungees? lol Can you hang a small weight instead?

Hang one or two gallons of water on each bungee....i mean one gallon on each bungee...two per door
