I have had my Graphtec FC8000-100 for at least 10 years. It has been darn near faultless. I’ve replaced one part and once I got the settings right and stopped trying to run multiple materials through it, I go years without changing anything.
Can you send me a PM and let me know what you want for it?

I'm interested in giving your software a try. Thanks
Great! You can now subscribe and get a free trial direct from https://www.digicut.com/home/subscriptions/
Your computer needs to be running at least Windows 10 or Mac 10.12.6.
Compatible plotters are Roland, Graphtec/ Vinyl Express, Jaguar, Titan from US Cutter.
If you have this hardware, you can subscribe and start cutting in 10 minutes or less.

How many installers are using the Cut On The Pull feature for your cutting software?
Why is this feature needed?
Is it just for thin static films or because the plotter isn't calibrated correctly?
Curious to get some feedback.

I would be interested to hear some feedback on this as well.
What are the features you want to see and what price range would you expect to pay?

A quick note for anyone that previously tested or is actively using DigiCut...
You can now update your version of DigiCut and receive "Nesting" features.
Nesting allows you to:
- Drag and drop templates from multiple vehicles onto the same cut area
- Rotate and rearrange templates to your preference
Here is how to update your version:
- Go to HELP -> CHECK FOR NEW VERSION -> follow the prompts.
Thanks!

How do you even just create your own software? Or is it another software that your selling with your name? Always been interested in how this process is actually done! Thanks, just sent you an email with the details.
We develop all of our software in-house and have done so since the late 90's.
Feel free to post your experience.

Email sent.
Part of the feedback we're looking for is how easy to use the software is.
I'm not giving you guys an instruction manual... just the link to download it.
The other feedback I'm looking for is template quality.
All templates have been developed in-house from 1998 with new template releases weekly.
Let me know what you think.

Several shops have reached out to test our cutting software... how would you prioritize this list?
This is the feedback for requested features we received:
1. Need tint templates for Windshields
2. Need full body PPF templates for all vehicles and not just vehicles above $70K
3. Need typeset/ lettering option to cut vinyl decals
4. What is critical to you in a cutting software? ...

As Ryker said, the new car glass is probably around 70% (.70).
If your tint was actually 20% (.20) instead of 25%, your net light transmission would be 14%.
(.70 X .20 = .14).

You'll have access to all of the tint and ppf templates.
Reach out if you have questions during the setup process.

We have developed a new cutting software and are looking for some folks to test it out and give feedback on ease of use and template quality.
It runs on both Mac and Windows.
If anyone is interested, send me a PM and I'll send you the download link.
I'm happy to answer any questions...

June 7-9 at the Orange County Convention Center.
Not the most convenient time of the year to leave your shop but...

What cutting software are you running when this happens?

That used FC8000 is a really great option.
Alternatively, if you're looking for inexpensive and decent quality, US Cutter has a Titan series that gets the job done.
You can go to their website and see pricing.
