Never heard of 6208 :40

I think its where toughed glass has been fitted above a certain height and needs to comply to BS regs so film needs to be fitted to make it safe...just in case

Can anyone help with what film shhould be used to comply with the British Standard 6208

You will see test, it's EN 12600 which is similar BS 6206.

Film feat this - is 4 mil window film. There are explanations on my web....

Small explanation, of BS6206

Test description: (pendulum soft impact, simulated human body, "safety"), which typically qualify wired glass, tempered glass, single-interlayer glass and regular float glass with 2, 4 rasp. 7mil films for use in public buildings etc. 45kg lead shot bag, pendulum impact on vertical door-size pane, criteria is whether or not the simulated 11-year-old boy hurts himself when running into the simulated glass
