Saw some threads regarding paint protection film, so I'm guessing this topic is OK here. Just had this done and like window tint, I see some bubbles and trapped dust. Is this normal? Is it harder to do than tinting?

It can be. It depends on the type of material you are working with and the type of vehicle you are putting it on.In general though , you should have a final install that is very clean with no clusters of trapped dirt or bubbling. A speck here and there is usually accectable in after-market installs as long as it doesn't take away from the overall look of the job. Any bubbling should go away after a max of 30 days. If not, the install was not done properly. :)

im putting this stuff on a Lexus SUV monday, any pointers? I was a sign and vinyl guy long before I started tinting so I should do ok but have never done it before and to start on a Lexus is a little bit of pressure but I could use some pointers...thNX

I would like to have paint protection film installed, but I'm having problems finding someone to do it in Oklahoma. Does anyone know of any shops in OK that deal with this? Does anyone have experience installing it? How hard is it? I've seen lots of websites selling the self installation kits, but I'm a little hesitant. I don't want to get in over my head.
