I agree. Half the time the trick is knowing when to pull and when not to pull.

Some cars are so easy to pull the panels that it doesn't make sense not to do it, others demand it.

I agree with everything said here. It seemed like a lot of "wasted" time figuring out how to pull panels and at first I thought "how are these guys making any money?". After doing it for a while though, you will start to see patterns, and panels come off AND go back on in a jiff, as long as you're careful and have the right tools. And when initially cutting these windows it should give you an idea as to the extremity of the compound curve and what combo of shrink/tuck/pull etc. that may be needed. I hate the extra time it takes to put the film on each window to heat form it when I could pull that panel and stretch that mug. To address the latter, If you've got an '05 Accord, it's three screws away from a quicker, easier install. No brainer for me, and I agree that certain car demand pulling as well.

never pull the panels but I do know when to remove the rear decks for pesky 3rd BL's when I know the bulldozer wont cut it.

IS 250 you don't need to remove any panels, just pop the tops back a little bit.
