next time, take the locks out of the vents, its real easy. I usually take my olfa and cut the old gasket back on the inside of the frame at about a 45 degree angle, this allows you to slide the film into the frame a little bit

the rear, I also take out if it is a solid back glass, sliders I leave in, depending on the type. The solids have two different types of gaskets, some have a bead that locks the gasket, and some of the beads are chrome covered and can be very brittle if old, you may need a bead lock tool to reinstall, they are cheap

The way I do them is cut the inside frame first then bump it over about an 1/8th of an inch. I then cut the outside bottom about 3 inches up then bump it back to where the inside is on the frame.

I then roll the window down and cut the top and outside edge.

When applying I bump the inside edge over and leave a micro edge top and out side. You then shouldnt have to fight that bottom 3 inches.

CLEAN THE BADOOGLES OUT OF THAT GLASS
