Is it possible

Truth be known, you are one of the smartest guys on the board.

There is a MFG that is saying that they do have a Super IR Film. Let the games begin!

Which one :poop

3M prestige

They say 97% IR rejection between 900-1000nm which is only about 6% of the entire IR spectrum. When you average it out Prestige is rejecting only 78% of the 780-2500nm IR spectrum. Sorry, nice try. :dunno

There are 2 others advertising 97% and yes, they are from the east but you can also get there by going west. :thumb

rejection between 900-1000nm - that what I noticed, as I have stupid soviet tradition to read between letters

But is it OK use ANY methods to sell products?

For example installer buy film and 97% sure that it will be winter in the ofice after installation, and that what he declare to customer.

After job is done - no winter. Who's fault is it? Installers who :poop about 900-1000nm which is only about 6% of the entire IR spectrum?

Customer who trust installer?

Dealer who don't explained to installer?

Or manufacturer who used trciky sales method?

That's interesting.

For me it look like: Our film stop 97% of bullets from handgun.

Just interesting Your mind about sales method.

There are lot of other tricks like change wavw angle - and film will cut 99% of IR and in some cases (angles) it can be regular 4 mil window film.

So????
