I don't use Folia Tec...I use Llumar films! But the Self-Tint stuff is very popular here and it's usually from FoliaTec.

Cops suck here in Germany! front windshield is not allowed at all and front door windows are not allowed as well.

Actually you are allowed to have windows 70% tinted but there is no film on the maket that tint only to 70%. Especially when you have factory tinted windows you're not allowed to install extra film. The only film you can use is the safety film which is clear but you have to show your car to a T?V-inspector and he needs to check if the fil is installed correctly without bubbles or dust. Then you get the permission to leave the safetyfilm in your car.

If you have illegal tint they sometimes allow you to remove it without getting any ticket but usually you get points or they take away the licence plates of your car and you have to pay such a high fine that you'll never do it again. That suxxx soooo bad!

The good thing is that the tinter is not responsible for his customers illegal tint but you have to clear up the customer that the tint is illegal.

We do also have signs and numbers on our films and we have to carry a permission for the film with us in the car. If there are no numbers or signs on the film it's just illegal.

Graphics are getting more and more popular in Germany but right now there are only few people who have it!

:lol6 Llumar have no so much colors, but I have more than FOLIA TEC :thumb:beer

Your laws... :hmmm We know about Your also here in Latvia... Lot of my friends remove films on Your border :beer:beer:)

The problem with Folia Tec is that they won't sell film to me because there's another tinter near my place who sells and uses Folia Tec. And to buy the selfti?nt sets is to expensive and makes no sense...

Since I don't have a shop I don't need to try to purchase Folia Tec from another tinter. Llumar has good film....I'm very satisfied with it. The only thing I miss is the color variety....like blue, red, yellow and so on(as you already said)
