We are thankful that our homes and warehouse was spared from Ike. We got a little water inside the warehouse & office, but all the film was up high, so no damage to the film!

No electricity, but Matt found a generator (don't want to know what he had to do to get that?) :lol2

So the phones are working, slitting machine is doing it's thing and the computer is running. UPS comes in daily for pickups and the shelves are full of film. Call today for the 6 roll Post Ike special.

We have limited internet access (at the neighbors), so you can call us direct 713.681.3000 between 8AM and 5PM when the generator is running.

Special thanks to two customers, Crystal & Erica that brought a team to the warehouse to squeegee out the water from the warehouse Sunday. With a team of six we had the warehouse dry in 1 hour (Water came in Sunday, the day after the hurricane!). Of course the carpet is another story...

      South facing windows DR film

      Install went great. I went with NV-25, I am very happy. The room has been darkened significantly, from bright and hot to much more pleasant and enjoyable. Watching TV during the day is no longer blinding, when it is cloudy it is definitely a bit gloomy, I am glad I did not go with NV-15. I plan on getting more windows done in the future to help cut down on heat energy. Thanks for everyone's input!

      Stratos 70 on windshield, what is this?

      Captain Obvious has two cents err senses to share: 1) The film should be removed and replaced, because it appears to have adhesive blemishes that shouldn't be there, and 2) The film should be reviewed/inspected once taken from the roll to avoid losing time and resources due to manufacturing issues. Little pieces not so much, but back glass and windscreen pieces ... definitely.

      I switched so long ago... first to KDS but they went away. NT are great though. I use a piece of white strapping material as a cutting buffer between the blade and glass. Some use a button but I didn't like the feel..
