I really don't understand why manufactures try to teach glazing to tinters. I ve seen so much fu!@#$ up jobs, because the tinter doesn't glaze correctly.

will manufactures be responsible if the application is installed incorrectly, say some one dyes, because the glazing is insufficient to specs performed @ quantico.

who is responsible? the manufacture or you?

why not sub the glazing to a professional. we critisize those who don't sub window tinting to a professional.

would this not be the same?

if you are going to do this, have the manufacture underwrite or take some responsibility in case something happens. they won't, if you it. if a professional

glazer did it, they would.

think about it.

Wet glazing is not that difficult. Learn how to do the install. Ask questions. If the silicone is installed to specs it will not fail.

I have heard of guys using latex instead of the Dow 995. If you do not know what you are doing don't do it. Find out how to, or even better go to a demo or set up something with your film dealer.

Simply, if you know your stuff and are confident with the installation, concerns about injury or liability will never materialize.

:dunno
