Acoustic window film

Hi there, i´m searching for an acoustic window film that reduce noises from outsite.

Need some input for this please.

Maybe the 12 mil is posible?

No manufactor have one or they never tested it?

I found one but it´s not a film it´s a blind with little holes in it and transparent.

They say that the holes take out the noises and echos. It comes from microsorber.

But there is realy no one as window film?

Can´t believe it.

Now I know where Haverkamp gets it "OPALMICROSORBER®"

Somewhere I read that laminated glass will reduce a little noice, as does security film (my guess would be the thicker the better), but it's minimal. I'm pretty sure there is no specific product for this, after all, it not only the glass itself, the entire framing must be hermetic to reduce the noice...

Wow you´re good, i´m suprised that you know Haverkamp. Are you German too?

Your right, when they made the silence gals they put a secu film between to glasses so I was thinking it will maybe work with secu film on both sides ( in/out) I will have next week my contact to the client and than I will see what´s he want.

I'm still in contact with them but I haven't bought from them in many years, yes they are expensive. They have very good marketing and some products are really unique. They make HUGE proyects with security film, especially in the middle east. In 2001 I was Heidelberg helping with an installation for the US Army, I installed a tiny bit from a total of over 100.000m2 (1.000.000 sqft).

That´s the way how it works 100.000 m2 - where can you find this ;)
