Quick question on e46 coupe

Recommended Posts

I was actually replacing the inside gasket for a customer. There is a plastic cover on the inside of the glass you can put the 1/4 all the way out, wiggle off the plastic cover, and you will see a "C" clip. Slide off the clip and it will now be loose. From there just pop the little button you see from the outside of the car off the shaft with a twist and it's done.

To replace the seal you have to disconnect it some how since the seal is one piece the little arm for the 1/4 prevents you from removing and installing a new one, so you need to disconnect to pass it through.
