How long does it take you guys to do an average job? Partial hood and fenders, lights, mirrors and bumper...bulk or kit.

There's no answer. For a car I've done a lot of times, I've done them in less than an hour. The first time on a car might take 3-4. Also film and pattern choice have a lot to do with it. A stiff film and bad pattern can set you back very quickly.

Took me 7 hours to bulk a full front nose on a 2007 Suburban when they fist came out, there wasn't a clearshield pattern out for it and it gave me hell. Just saying.

yea was just curious, i usually do a cut kit in about 2-3 and bulk sometimes up to 6+. i feel good that my quality is there just wasnt sure if i was still at turtle status.

If i spend more than 2 hours in a car i started to get frustated.

It all depends on the film you are using + patterns + weather.

Winter because of dirt,sand and cold weather i usually spend an extra hour in a black car.

Summer i can do a car in about 1:30.

Most difficult cars for are mercedes & Jaguar.

Putting the BS aside. It takes as long as it takes to do a good job. There is no time limit or set time a job should be done. Work at your own pace and do things right.

brazucawrx... you clearly have not done a difficult job yet. Benz and jags are cake. If you spend more then 2 hours on a job you just may have prepped the car correctly.

Not sure how to quote people but this statement is certainly correct. Im in with the corevette club locally and have done my fair share. It seems that it has taken a variety of time limits. Generally, about three hours plus a wash by my detail guys before hand. The time come when they want rockers or other time consuming peices done.
