is this a good tip to make the film stick to a dot matrix?

I was watching something the other day that said to use the same method but instead of plain water, use "dirt off" and it is supposed to almost instantly make the adhesive super tacky. Haven't tried it myself but thought I'd throw it out there.

water or soap..I'd let the film dry befor laying it down on the glass. The guy in the video is doing it wrong... :shock

The only thing is you want to have the film stick to the bottom matrix line...you dont want the film comming away on the glass. If you do you get an ugly air line in the tint.
