What brand of foam pad you are using on that german buffer?

I was not aware that there was 3000 grit paper,I've always went to 2000 grit to buff. I have to try going to 3000

Pman you can use 3m black waffle same results... :spit Have fun :thumb There are a lot of opinions on cutting the newer clearcoats but let me tell you we have yet to cut through the clear and we are sittting on 236 cars buffed and thats 33 cars a month on average so use common sense and the money and customers will follow :lol6

Yeah Tb,I use the 3M foam pads already.I just never seen that type of pad you are using there.

I thinking about moving to Charlotte,It seems that in that area,alot of detailers are mobile units.Is that true in your area? I would rather have a shop ,than being mobile.

Also,too it seems as though you guys in NC can get more for a Complete detail

Avg for our area is $150 for cars.

What is for you guys?

Here the average is 160.00...a town like Charlotte is wide open....A lot of money in that area... :lol The weather is so crazy here I wouldnt be mobile if I was on salary :lol A shop is the way to go unless you spouse makes killer :dunno Good luck

Incredible results on the wet sanding and incredible price also.

Great job but when the clear coat has that kind of abuse ,,how do you buff out the defects when there isnt enough clear do do so :nope I can see oxidation especially on the trunk :rollin I just dont have any luck with 10 year old paint :rollin
