Wet vs Dry shrinking !!

Lets here what you guys think about these technics , I go back an forth between the too , I use a car wax to dry shrink

normally wet shrink with hard card I find works well. started out with dry and liked the wet better.... wet's good ;)

Just started back installing, started in 92... learned wet, and it worked well, first day at new place and boss dry shrunk... I have been and have to admit its faster ...

Fabric sheet. I used the wet method for years but switched and I have to say I believe the dry way is more forgiving.

Personally I believe dry is better. Soap method or glass polish to be the best for dry method. Sometimes I've used vinyl protection, works great mixed 2:1 with water! IMO dry shrink lets the film float on the glass when shrinking as opposed to moulding it like a windup. If u like both ways, try spraying the back glass with your slip then wiping it with a rag as if u were using a polish, sort of gives a combo of the two, I think anyway

kari hired a guy who still does wet shrink if I remember, and he does great work from what I recall?

Really just the preference of what works best for each person....
