Civic and Accord Matrix solutions

Recommended Posts

The troublesome matrix seems to be only on the coupes these days. I usually have puckers develop in the dots on these and if heated too much then it sticks too good and stays that way. Then it looks inconsistent with the rest of the matrix.

A couple weeks ago I accidentally discovered something. I put a 2012 Civic out in the sun without messing with one large pucker, and when I came back to touch it up, it was gone on its own. I'm wondering if anyone as just let the puckers alone for a couple hrs in the sun, whether they eventually will suck up, or if they still have to be pushed down.

Or how you avoid puckers all together, I dry shrink with a little bit of stretch till it lays nice, then wet check. It looks perfect when I cut it out. Ive tried the glue but it doesn't work on these dots. Don't want to leave it clear or use dotrix either.

Need some answers!!
