One thing I see a lot of people do when taking pics of cars is to leave more space behind the car than the front.

Just like when you are composing a photo of a person from the side, you don't put their nose near the side with a lot of space behind the head.

For example here's a pic I've cropped two ways...

It's the same for cars, leave more space for the front than the back. I know the focus of most of the pics are the windows, so the front winds up getting cut off and the pic looks uneven to the eye.

That's awesome man. My nephew and his friends go every weekend usually to either just practice or to race. I wish I was able to go more often to get some better photos.

I only made it to 3 practices this summer,,alot got rained out or was working,,Races rarely get rained out,,but my son doesn't have or make time either

My son called me after that crash pic and said bring your bike, I need the handlebars?really?,,I had to ride my other bike
