Solar Gard Drying Problem

Recommended Posts

Think those who posted this is related to the dry adhesive of the original film we removed are correct (though have never had a problem like this before when scraping dry adhesive). Going back to bldg to look at these with the customer and prob have to replace a few before the customer will finally pay.

So after scraping, the best plan is to polish the glass with Zaino or something similar (I have some Solyx Sim Glass clean and polish solution - is this good?).  Install with more than usual slip solution.  Squeege hard with a security film squeege - probably multiple times.  And hope the stronger sun beats it dry.

Sound about right?
