Is this quality considered "normal"?

I recently had my Honda Fit tinted with F1 Ultimate. One rear window has a hair in it, and bubbles, so obviously that's going back under warrantee. (Are hairs pretty common?) I'm wondering about the tint on the tiny little side windows up front, near the dash. I noticed one is not cut quite right in one corner. In this photo you can see where the rounding isn't cut smoothly:

Here are some other photos of the same window:

3 .

Here is another window I'm wondering about with a very slight scratch in the tint, http://www.sysmatrix.net/~jkandell/IMG_0839_i.jpg

My question is this: Do most quality tinters get the cut perfect or close to it, or is the above normal? Are very slight scratches normal and expected? I don't want to bother the tinter if I'm just being too picky or perfectionistic.

sup man.

that front quarter glass needs to be redone, looks like the film just moved when it was getting done and installer must of not seen it. as those lil small windows are hard to reach in there and sqeege out the water.

the pic with the "scratch" in it, looks ike as if the glass is scratched, if the tint is scratched then maybe you loaded something on to the car and rubbed up against it? it would be kinda hard to blame the tinter if you did not point that to him the day you picked up the car.

a good typical installer should be able to do such an easy car without having the customer notice any kind of flaws. of course you got the typical customers asking what are all those bubbles, streaks on they're windows upon picking up they're car. READ THIS

nothing ever is perfect, especeially when using this type of film which every lil flaw tends to show if installer is not careful enough. we are human, and we do however touch the film with our hands, and sometimes the install comes out perfect, sometimes it doesnt, sometimes is just best to leave it alone. I mean, are you perfect? if your such a perfectionist person, (directed to all who are one) I suggest starting with yourself. no pun intended dude. :gasp

Yeah, those are things that can easily be missed if a guy is on "auto pilot".

Being F1 dealers, I would assume they would be more than happy to correct any mistakes, but then again, I've seen some pretty shotty work come out of F1 shops....I thought there was some sort of standards that had to be met and continue to to be a F1 branded business.

As a followup, I did take it back and the Tucson F1 dealer (Specialist) who redid three windows with no hassle. The re-do still had some specks and a hair in it (much smaller than original hair), but it's better than before so I'll live with it. They said it was hard to do the back and front windows because of the seat belt getting in way, and having to squeeze in there gave time for dust to get on it before putting it on window. They said it was a hard car to do.

I think I had unrealistic expectation of tinting; I naively thought that the pros (compared to the $99 guys) could keep out specks and hairs. I don't see specks and hairs on other's cars, so maybe it's a Honda Fit thing? Truth be told, I can live with it.
