  1. yelp will catch on eventually in everybodies area, so i suggest looking into it

as far as that shop goes, a lot of those reviews will end up filtered off if the customer is not a consistent yelper.  if its a one time set up an account, and only one review it wont show unless its a negative review.  they let the negative ones show up regardless usually.  kind of messed up.  if you have the means its best to dominate every portal that your customer can see you

  2. I have to give props to Bekaert... that cherry pick their dealers.

    :spit

Well maybe not so much cherry pick, but seems they had alot of paper work and wanted a copy of a business license and just alot more hoops to go through..

IMO the way it should be done

but comps need to sell film, they can do so however they want to

  3. a rep came in today. film made in Korea. the 05 claims 56% TSER and 70% IR at 950nm cutoff. I installed a piece on his 98 TL and it looked damn good. film needed higher heat to shrink. but when I got to the last corner I got the trick down. what I was expecting was there to be discoloration on my first corner from having to overshrink it where I had a little goof up. but once installed there was no ghosting whatsoever. reflectance was low and the film was thick. they claim 1.5 mil, but they say others are not a true 1.5 mill. they say theirs is like .04 thicker but it feels like even more.

im skeptical but he left me some so imma do my own testings on it. pricing up to par with other manu's out there.

I cant find anything online about this film. its being delivered from fullerton

  4. thanks for the info man. but I have done the same with the old g35.

    :rollin

from what the dealer told me, they will all do it now. funny though, first it was just the driver side, than 5 minutes later the passenger side started doing it. the last thing I want is for it to be a delayed reaction. I would rather them all happen right then or not at all so we can fix it without the customer knowing of any problems.

  5. the new g37 coupe has remodeled the front window mechanism because older g35's would have too many problems. they swithed it sensor to a single wire design to hopefully solve some off the problems. when you unscrew the bolt holding in the sensor, you may need to reset the window timing to get them to function correctly.

we did one today, and when we put it back together it looked fine. but when you open the door the window rolls down half way instead of a 1/4". the windows also wont roll up or down unless the door is closed. customer was watching too.

so in order to reset it, you go inside the car with the doors closed and roll them up and hold the switches up for 15 secs. wait 15 more secs. roll down and hold down for 15 more secs, then wait 15 more seconds and open the doors. if it doesnt work retry. disconnecting batteries does not work.

need any more help message me or cal 951.600.8438

I dont want to see this happen to any other tinters on this board.

the dealer will give you no help. trust

    peace

oh no more dot matrix on the rear window.

    HOLLA

  6. dont layer it. if the new layer is just a little bit larger on the ledges of the older layer it will finger up on those windows after about a year or two. just pay the extra money for them to take the tint off. I had my car dbl limo for three years and two of the of those years had fingers up two of the rear doors and the back window. whe I removed the film I noticed that the newest layer was a bit larger, and where it overlapped is where the finger shot up. I added the second layer about two weeks after the first so the pieces weren't exact. you dont want to have problems like this, so just r+r the whole car.
