hAVE YOU CHANGED ANYTHING?
The only thing that changed I've had nothing but problems with my plotter and patterns since my forced Windows 10 update maybe pure coincidence I don't know
-
Film and vinyl designs had a 2016 Ram in a 2018 around and both patterns fit the same
-
I don't know if it is a plotter issue or software issue Iam having with patterns that used to fit but now don't, for instance today I had to dodge ram that hadn't changed since 2011 my patterns on the front door used to fit fine but now I might have a micro edge at the top front and top rear but close to 1/4 gap at the top middle

None anymore Lost of tools available these days a I sure mane a few in the 80s and 90s.

I did one a couple years ago it took me 2 tries to get it clean in one piece I left a really small light gap all the way around to keep it from sucking up trash ,anyway after I shrunk it I test fitted it and final trimmed it with the liner on before final install.

If a car is more than 8-10 years old I assume it may have been tinted at one time even if they say there is no old tint on it, I then tell them I need it about an hour longer then I say i need a newer vehicle and tell them it will cost X amount of $$$$ as long as there is no old tint or adhesive that has to bee removed. I look it over carefully before I pull it in and if there is old glue left on it I charge them extra if they don't want to pay I sent them down the roadd.

OK LLumar is strangling our business by not giving us cutting software since we are not buying High End Tint from them. They have set a ridiculous amount in which we have to order from them to get the software from them. I like LLumar but there has got to be a better alternative. Any one with insight and thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
Their are all kinds of options out there for tinting software but yea the people I know of who get free software are buying a ridiculous amount of film.

You can can easily tell if it's a template problem if it cuts the same pattern the exact same way.
I will check it out

Struggle
in Window Tinting - General Discussion
Posted · Edited by Mr paladin
After the window and seal are extremely clean I tint the window dry, what i mean by dry I do not wet the 1/4 glass before I install just the film with extra slip.
