thats what ive been reading. It sucks not having a garage. There are some mini shops around me. Not sure how much they are. Ill check craigslist for shops for rent.

Take a look at the Snap On underhood light. They go inside interior and work great. Remember you get what you pay for and its on sale this month. And it cordless

Im having trouble finding places to tint. Right now i dont have a garage and do it in a car port. Its ok in the summer but now its around 35 after work and pretty dark. Ive thought about renting something around the size of a 2 car garage. I still need to get better and its hard when Its so cold outside. Also wind is a factor. Any thoughts on places.

I like it. Im a welder by trade and would use 2x3 tubing and what about lighting inside of it. Those blue prints are very nice to better than most of the ones i get.

My Sunday cancelled so im going to tint my ride today, where 4 out of 5 windows can be tinted at anytime. And im pulling my door panels off so I dont look stupid. Should i charge him 10% for cancelling. Ha ha.

So apply tape to outer glass ring or the felt liner on bottom.

I got my first non paying non family job. One of my friends at work. Im going to fo it on Sunday. It is a Chrysler 200 I know there hard to do and I told him I would try it. Ive tinted only about 5 cars total and some of them several times. I told him no charge I want to do it for practice. Any advice im going to pretend its a paying job. Thanks.

Thanks for the help guys. Im going to hit up some of my friends at work that have newer 4 door cars and see what happens. Ive tinted my car over 6 times now. Also tinted my wifes and sons car. I bought some SunTek. Super sweet tint. Been picking up tools little by little and I have a good time tinting. Also Im a welder fabricator and work around 55 hours a week.

Ive been practicing tinting my own cars. I want to tint others for practice. How did you guys start approaching potential victims and did you charge a minimum. 40.00 or 12pack. Any help would be great.

Does anybody use gloves to minimize contamination when peeling the liner. Sometimes I get little spots where my fingers touch the film. Thanks guys for all the help.

I tinted my car with walmart tint for 9 months it peeled right off. I do live in Oregon where theres very little sun.

I bought a mid grade roll from tintdepot. It was 84 bucks 100x20 in. I did the H on the BG. I didnt snap it. Is it when you peel it off then put it back on and look for fingers. Thank you for all the help.

Wow that is awesome. I work in a local fab shop not much excitement in the shop. I dont have any idea on size although if you put glass on both sides you double your peal board. Good luck.
