Vacuum drying ? the guarantee

for quality coating

Following many years? research experience we have concluded that material drying and outgassing in vacuum before deposition will guarantee high quality coatings. In particular this applies to high-moisture polymer films, synthetic fabrics and non-woven materials. That is why in many cases we recommend that our customers purchase a set of two machines: vacuum dryer and vacuum web coater.

Vacuum Dryer C2P1250 has been designed specifically for outgassing, removal of the monomer and solvent residues and drying of webs. During the treatment, the material passes the heating elements (IR lamps) installed in several compartments,

the whole chamber being evacuated to the pressure 5E10-2 Torr. Prior to wind-up, the material is chilled on the water-cooled roller.

After such pre-treatment the material will not cause any problems during coating.

Sputtering magnetrons

We have developed and now sell both planar and cylindrical magnetron sputtering devices with target utilization factors of up to 40 %. Maximum length of the planar targets is 2,750 mm, cylindrical ? 2,500mm. We developed two types of cylindrical sputter magnetrons, particularly: with the rotary target and rotary magnetic field. The first mentioned is for coating roll polymer films and for continuous coating. The second is for protective and decorative coating on batch vacuum machines.

We deliver magnetrons complete with the power supplies and control system.

Sputter materials are Ti, Al, Cu, Zr, Cr, Ni, InSn, CrAl, brass and stainless steel.

Electric arc evaporators

Electric arc evaporation devices are mainly applied on batch machines. We are experienced in the production of planar devices with target length up to 1,150 mm and cylindrical with target length up to 4,000 mm.

We deliver electric arc evaporators complete with the power supplies and ignition system and control system for cathode spot translation along the target.

Evaporation materials are Ti, Zr, Cu, Al, brass and stainless steel.

Specifically to maximise evaporation material yield we developed a special purpose vapor generator for evaporating Zn and Mg for anticorrosion coating on steel strip.
