got a guy wanting his 2 day old avant tinted! had a look and as I'm a panel puller I wondered where the screws are? any help?????

this car is very new and expensive and he's a bit worried that I might accidentaly damage a panel while removing it!!!

I'd prefer a heads up on how to remove this kind of door panel!!

cheers!!

The door panels on a Audi is kind of hard to remove. If I remember right, there are a few hidden screws behind the wood trim and another slightly below the door handle. The clips are very tight so when you pull back on the panel, you will swear that something just broke. Usually one or two of them will end up breaking so I have since started to try and pry out the door trim without taking the entire panel off. The front doors are pretty easy but the rear doors are a pain in the rear because the window does not roll all the way down. If you manage to get the trim off, it is virtually impossible to put back on correctly without removing the rear door panels. Good luck.
