Sly,

They're Ok to do and are one of the only Mercs currently around that have felt on the bottom so you won't have a problem of scratching the tint when you use the power windows.

Rear windscreen is a easy one piecer...the very rear siders may either be fixed or have an optional power opening facility. Heat shrink these first for it makes it a lot easier. If it is a powered window, leave the pivot pins in place and cut around them.

The rear doors you can get to pull the top back enough and pull the rubber gasket out which saves having to R and R the whole thing and similar for the fronts. They are a lot harder to to do that way and you may have to take the trim off if you like tinting without any obstructions.

You need to learn grasshopper that your gasket wizard ( home made) will soon find it's way to the dustbin if you plan on tinting many Mercedes vehicles - they have no place on that car.

The top of the panel can be pulled back, you may have to remove a screw and then the rubrail can be removed.

Good luck
