Hi everyone, I'm new to tintdude.com, my first time here. This is a great site, I love it. Anyway, I'm also new to the tint industry, just starting out. I understand it's a difficult trade, but I love being around cars & trucks (to work on). Can someone please help me out with this one? I have a 2002 CRV to do today & the rear window has the hinges on the outside top of the window, how do I shrink around them? or do I cut around them?

If someone can help, I would really appreciate it.

Thanx in advance everyone.

P.S.

This really is a great site.

I just take the back window out. it is way easier to cut and shrink everything with it off . Ive done a lot of these and have had no comebacks. There is 2 torx screws that hold the window on the hinges and another 2 that hold the struts on it. Then you have to pop the 3rd brakelight off too. Easy to do. alot about 1/2 hour for the removal and replacement of the back glass.
