Would someone be able to advise me with regards to the trouble I had tinting the rear glass on a Land Cruiser, I normaly tint flat glass but do cars sometimes, I have been taught on how to shrink film and after many attempts usually manage OK, but after 4 trys and 2 and a half hours of try the Land Cruiser rear gave up, but got a feeling that because I was outside with the sun behind me? I ended up creasing the film 4 times, is this just bad experience or is the sun on the film not a good idea when shrinking the film?

I went outside as the car was to big to get in the garage

Any input would be great, thanks

The sunshine shouldn't affect your shrinking, as far as I know. What year landcruiser is it? Is it the rubber seal type, or does it have a border?
