BMW rub rail removal - made easy

I'm sure most of us use a hook tool to pull out the rub rail on the 3 and 5 series BMW's but today I found a better tool for the job...

Now, I do sell these tools in the UK

This tool whips the rub rails out much better than any hook tool and with less damage.

Here you go...

Great idea. I typically use a gasket scraper for this, it's like a wide standard screw driver, but that looks safer. Those are so tight on those cars, I am always afraid of bending it. If you bend it, there is no way to bend them back, and I have replaced a couple over the years, not on Bimmers though.

This tools works great - you can just enough pressure near the clip and it's out...

I have bent them before on these cars - they never recover once you have bent them.
