Low E

A friend in the industry recently traveled to SF California to watch a technician form Sacramento California

REPAIR a fogged IG unit.

Cost $350 to $500.

Why?

20 Floors up & Exterior Glazed.

IG replacement Cost exceeded $3,500. Traffic Controls were to be required as well.

The customer was satisfied.

Tech shoots for 85% improvement on 85% of jobs attempted.

The real fun begins when he drills the interior pane of the IG unit which occasionally is unmarked heat strengthened glass. :lol6

thank god I dont do alot of low e, or else id be in the hole (knock on wood)

stephen, I would recommend you go with the most experienced window film installers in the area, as they will educate you further more, the more you try to find out what kind of panes you have and what specs there are for those panes, the more of a headache youre going to get.......let the pro's check out your windows, have them look at them, and have them recommend close to what you need.

good luck.

The windows are heat shield low E R6 Plus sc 75 C/W gas.

The specks are on South wall's sight.

I did call all the local window repair places they said replace only.

The problem is that in Canada they are biult in Vancover. That equals high cost for the window and high cost for the shipping.

Well when it comes time I will try to repair it what is there to lose if it doesnt work I will be out no maney just time.

Stephen
