you're going to need to felt the gaskets cuz the POS rustangs have hard plastic seals.? and 20% on the front doors is illlegal so just stick with walmart tint because you'll be getting a ticket and having to remove the film anyway.

Hawaii Issues Thousands of Tint Citations

Thousands of motorists in Hawaii have to pay up for violating the state?s long-standing law regarding vehicle window tint now that police have light meters with them in cruisers and substations, according to a report on the Honolulu Starbulletin.com.

Prior to 2003, the police department on the Big Island had a total of approximately 20 light meters. They now have 100, allowing them to act on a law that has been on the books for 22 years, and since the addition of extra light meters, more than 9000 people have received citations for tint-law violations.

Further having an impact on Hawaiian drivers who are found to be in violation of the tint laws, which allows vehicle windows to ?be tinted to 29 percent on all widows except the windshield,? according to TheHawaiiChannel.com, are also being served with fines more than double what they would have faced in the past. The fines associated with !llegal window tint on vehicles has gone from $99 to $287 for the vehicle driver; the installers who install the !llegal film face a fine of $537.

Is the Concord "Premium Series > 2 Ply High Performance film" reflective?

The Deluxe 2 Ply says Non-Reflective but the premium does not.

Would this film be good quality?

      South facing windows DR film

      Install went great. I went with NV-25, I am very happy. The room has been darkened significantly, from bright and hot to much more pleasant and enjoyable. Watching TV during the day is no longer blinding, when it is cloudy it is definitely a bit gloomy, I am glad I did not go with NV-15. I plan on getting more windows done in the future to help cut down on heat energy. Thanks for everyone's input!

      Stratos 70 on windshield, what is this?

      Captain Obvious has two cents err senses to share: 1) The film should be removed and replaced, because it appears to have adhesive blemishes that shouldn't be there, and 2) The film should be reviewed/inspected once taken from the roll to avoid losing time and resources due to manufacturing issues. Little pieces not so much, but back glass and windscreen pieces ... definitely.

      I switched so long ago... first to KDS but they went away. NT are great though. I use a piece of white strapping material as a cutting buffer between the blade and glass. Some use a button but I didn't like the feel..

      Stratos 70 on windshield, what is this?

      I can't win with getting tint decent on the windshield. I had 3M on my F150 done twice and still has major defects. Recently did Stratos twice on my F350 and I see this granular spotted, texture pattern on the tint. It's super obvious in the corner here but also right in my view when driving. It's honestly hard to point out and show someone but when your driving and stuff is moving behind the windshield, it becomes more obvious. The lighting also matters. The first time I did the windshield, I had a two foot line on the windshield. Thinking it was tint, they removed the tint and it was apparently a defect in the Ford windshield. An issue between the laminated glass layers caused this big defect. So they removed the tint, I had Ford replace the windshield on a 2024 F350 but when the tint shop removed the tint, they made a bunch of micro scratches in the front windshield, probably from scrapping the glue off. I told them but I didn't care since Ford was replacing the windshield anyways. So if basically I'm trying to figure out what this texture stuff is and if I should have them replace or remove it. Replacing it might just have different issues but also afraid they will scratch the windshield.
