I have done alot of window tinting but I have not done a ton of removals. the removals I have done I have always used a steamer... I can tell the difference but I still have alot of glue left behind. am I not steaming long enough???? I was just wondering b/c after reading through alot of post sounds like it just falls off for some people..... anyhow like I said just wondering if I'm just not being patient enough with it.

some films respond differently to more or less steam. be patiant with yourself and film. experience will give you the ability to tackle film removals much more quickly and efficiently. try adding a few cups of windex to the steamer water, works for me. 1peec

simple green or vinegar are good spikes to add as well.

removals are painstaking and tedious. thats why they should do it right the first time.

that ninety nine ducket job + removal = price of what they shoulda paid in the first place for a quality job (and still have tint)

now they have to pay for the retint too.

I used to h@te removals, until I just started charging the going shop rate.

tedious thorough cleaning work isnt soo bad when youre charging hourly.
