Cutting 10 mil +

Yea I have cut 12 mil on a filmhandler with not many problems, although sometimes it will weave back and forth causing uneven cuts and can be a pain. But take the black caps and cut the circle off and put that between the roll and the rollers and it helps out alot for the weaving.

FilmHandler does sell shims to reduce the "waggle". They do work. also, the slit in the cutting guide CAN be spread apart to accomodate thicker films.

That Ceramic cutter does look interesting.

I used to carry a piece of glass, a door, sawhorses, clamps, straight edge and a drywall square. I could cut film really well using this method, but I'm a die hard filmhandler user now. Greatest thing since the red dot!!!
