sure. tint it. just tell em not to scratch it, and tell em the water stays on the..outside of the boat.

I have had a fewe boat people

SG gave one a lifetime gimmick on their Stainless Steel 20

they had never been asked before

My manufacturers have always told me no warranty on salt water boats as well
