take a document, letter, form, and save in some type of format, in order to make a few changes?

say I print out a bank statement, and I want to change a few things, like my name, and bank account

Pretty simple actually.... Use a program called Omni page pro and you can do whatever you want to a document and it looks original and stays in the original format..Unless it's a .pdf file..... check your pm!

yea I guess that's what I need, coverting text documents on like word,

so my real question, how do I convert .pdf text files on to word? or notepad?

pdf files are protected, you have to have the pro reader and permission to change the document. Your better off using a photo editor, like photoshop. My wife does stuff like that all the time..of course nothing illegal.

Word 2003 has the option to save a scanned document as editable text
