Nice cars dudes! I like the mods :poke Very cool!corvetteandstuff007-2.jpg I'm mainly into jetboats but I do have a winter project-3 winters in a row! :lol2 I'm old school-Its a 1968 corvette convertible with a big block pumpin 550 hp.I still lack alot of details but with this beautiful weather I gotta get on it! I'll be cruisin by mid April.

my 05 srt 4 I took every thing I pretty much had on it off the other day its forsale need a truck just bout a house and tryin to remodel and sick of barrowin everyones trucks

I had a 1986 GMC Sierra short wide that I bought in 87 that I drove and babied until I sent it off to Hot Rod Johnny Young in Tulsa to paint. I had him paint it back origional gray with black insert and origional factory stripe. I stripped the truck, interior, windows, trim bumpers everything and they took it apart the rest of the way and painted her up right. He had it for three months painting it then when I got it back I took my sweet time putting her back together with lots of new GM parts.

My truck wasnt in bad shape, just planned on keeping her for many more years to come. Never showed it. Never, ever, ever drove it in the rain!

Then in 1999 I dropped a long block in it with a little bit of a cam. Torker II manifold, 650 Holly, headers, billet valve covers, K&N billit air breather, braided the hoses, lots of chrome and other new goodies......

Sold her when someone offered me an insane amount of money for her!

Always said I'd be buried in that truck. I'd post a pic but I dont know how to do that kinda stuff. Im a friggin window tinter not a computer g__k!

Oh! and I put a shift kit in the tranny and man would she zing!! Did I mention that I did most of the engine and tranny work with the help of my brother? I have doubled jointed elbows so I can run the get the tranny bolts started by hand. Truth.

      I am looking for an experienced Window Tint and/or PPF installer for a new shop opening in North Dallas (Frisco, Prosper, McKinney area). Must be damn good with a strong work ethic and put out quality work. You’ll have plenty of freedom but work is expected to get done as customers come first.       TintX Puremax and Koolmax

      All Right cool. I've been practicing with an inexpensive tint I found on amazon. Its called Rockrose. I'm just about ready to make some cards to pass around to get clientele. I've been debating if I should start with Puremax cuz its a lot cheaper or Geoshield cuz of the great quality I've heard of. I'll probably go with Geoshield so I can make it easy on myself and make sure I do great quality work for my customers. Are you already doing doing jobs for customers? If so, did you stop using the Puremax and now only use Geoshield?

      Heavy Ghosting - Geoshield "Geo" Line

      Ghosting week require a smoother, more even and spread out shrink. Look at my old "ryk shrink" using 2 heart guns with an over/under setup. That would be my suggestion.

      Heavy Ghosting - Geoshield "Geo" Line

      Hey all, I am not a pro tinter but more or less just someone who likes to experiment / DIY. Wanted to ask if there was anyone here who has used the Geoshield "Geo" line for automotive purposes? I really like the color, but I get really bad ghosting for anything that requires decent shrinking. The film is specced as architectural, but has a PS adhesive so some use it in auto applications. I sent an email to see if that is the reason why it's for flat glass .. lol This is a sputtered TiN film and has a beautiful color imho. This reminds me of Huper Optik, and not quite sure but I think Johnson had a line called "InsulatIR" that I could never get my hands on to try. The film has a slightly purplish reflection (TiN I guess), when put on green auto glass, filters out and looks super neutral. ❤️ I've had it on my auto for a while but my rear window is a mess when the sun hits it (ghosting) and was curious if this is just not suitable for auto Any info would be appreciated. Skill issue, ie: shrink with lower heat? lol Thanks.

      chameleon window tint good quality

      If you don't mind trying to source some, there is a large Japanese manufacturer that makes a bunch of dichroic - looking films. It might be your style, but it would be hard to get your hands on some. https://www.braintec.co.jp/filmlab/ I believe some of the films do have decent heat-rejection, but because of the nature of the films, looking through them can be really funky. They are well-known in Japan and would likely be of decent quality. Also, very expensive. Depending on where you are, shipping would also be $$$.

      TintX Puremax and Koolmax

      I feel the difference in quality with geoshield. Not only is it easier to peel the liner off but shrinking feels better and I think the material feels slightly thicker(helps with not creasing) Only downside that the price noticeably different. For mainly everything Its atleast another 100 on top of for example stuff from tints Lexen. I haven’t tried solarfree either.

      At least twice, yes. Although since we don't know what vehicle it is you're planning to tint, that was a bit presumptuous of me.
