Had a friend of a friend bring in a 64 late in the day and thought the rear would be easy to shrink but after wasting a ton of film, I finally had to throw in the towl cause it was getting late. He is going to drop it off again next week so besides the nasty old rubber seals, any trix to the rear window? Should I just two piece it?

Thanks

the advantage to 2 piecing would be if it had a wicked curve you couldnt handle...is that the problem or is it that the back glass wraps around? also do those even have defroster lines to 2 piece it?

Yea, it has a mean wrap around and althoe verticly, it looks pretty flat, its not. :thumb

Oh, and no, there are no defrost lines.

have the window pulled out by a glassman, then you can easily shrink it. just tack on the extra hundred to the price. I just posted a pic on my myspace of a 66 mustang coupe that we did where I had the back pulled and put back in. its not a wrap around window but it has the same nasty gasket.
