FINALLY got Accord qtr. window pics!

Recommended Posts

It seemed like forever ago that I did an Accord until Saturday. I took some pics of the quarter glass removal process. Let's see if I remember how to post them.

Pull back gasket directly above vertical rail to expose phillips/Torx screw. Remove the screw.

Remove this hole plug

Then remove this 10mm bolt

Pull gasket out of top channel, about 6-8" from vertical rail. Then pull rail towards the front of the car until the top is out of the channel. From here, pull rail STRAIGHT up until the whole thing is out of the door. It should still have the gasket in it.

Pull glass/gasket combo towards front of car.

Once you do a couple, this whole process (including taking the door panel off) takes less than 3 minutes per side. Since I take the panels off anyways to felt the gaskets, this extra step is well worth the effort.

Any questions?

so you pull the glass, tint it, put it back, then tint the other window right next to it, or do you have another way thats not mentioned.
